About Stereoette
Stereoette is a one-girl show run by me, Joi Lakes, a Texas ex-patriot now practicing law and crafting up a storm in New York City. I made jewelry, sew clothing and bags, screenprint cards and fabric, and fuse glass in my spare time. I sell my creations here, and on etsy.com.

I'm a proud member of the New York City Craft Mafia, my partners in craft and good friends, with whom I sell my goodies at craft fairs. We also are in the midst of planning events that will hopefully get the entire NYC crafting scene involved - keep your eyes peeled!

Purchasing Stereoette Merchandise

At this time, all Stereoette merchandise is sold through Etsy.com or in person at craft fairs. My craft fair schedule is posted on my website under Events. At this time, I do not do custom work, however, if you need an item altered (hems raised, chains lengthened, etc) I would be happy to do so before shipping.

I accept Paypal and Google checkout. You may use credit cards through either of these services. I do not accept personal checks. I accept cash for in person sales only I do not advise sending cash through the mail.

Shipping

I will ship your item within 72 hours of your purchase. I will then convo or email you with a tracking number. If I have not shipped within 72 hours, I will refund your shipping. All items will be shipped within 7 days, no question.

PLEASE have your Paypal and Etsy address match. If it does not match, I will ship to your Paypal address. You are responsible for getting the package from that address if it is not where you live!

If you are having your purchase sent to another address as a gift, please let me know either in comments or by convo.

Caring for Your Merchandise

DO NOT use windex to clean Acrylic jewelry! Scratches can be worked out with an acrylic polish found at your local auto shop.

Please handwash or gentle cycle all clothing. Hang to dry.

Spot clean bags.

Defective Merchandise

I will never knowingly send you defective merchandise. However, sometimes things happen in the mail, or an invisible fault may pass my notice. I will fix or replace your item if it is defective on arrival, depending on the nature of the defect. Should you need to return defective merchandise:

1. Please let me know within 30 days, BEFORE SENDING THE RETURN, or I will not be able to honor your return.
2. Once we have discussed your return, mail it back to me.
3. Within two weeks, I will send you a replacement or fixed item.
